Director of Communication & Administration

Emily (she/her/hers) received her BFA at Western Carolina University with a concentration in graphic arts. After graduation, she spent some time at The Mountaineer Newspaper in Waynesville before becoming the Director of Marketing and Communications at The Country Club of Sapphire Valley. Emily met her husband while attending college. After having their son, they made a change in scenery and moved to Wilmington, NC where she started a new career in training service dogs for veterans with service-connected disabilities. Her family returned home to the mountains in 2020 and they reside in East Asheville with their two dogs and one cat.
