The Liturgy for the Dead is an Easter liturgy and one of the most moving services of the church. The rite is grounded in the hope of resurrection and offers family and friends a sacred container to both grieve and celebrate a life. It is the holy privilege of the St. James parish, staff, and clergy to be present with families as they mark and remember a loved one. The Funeral Customary includes information for services planning, which occurs with the guidance of clergy.
The White Wrenn Memorial and Meditation Garden is available for internment—details are included in the Funeral Customary.
To inquire about scheduling a funeral or memorial service, please call the parish office. The pastoral staff is available to discuss advance planning of funeral instructions.
