Bruce Grob (he/him/his) is an Episcopal Priest with an M.Div. and a Ph.D. in Social Ethics. Bruce taught at Drew University and at the University of North Florida. He has worked with several non-profit organizations engaged in social justice; particularly in the areas of health, education, and economic development. He helped create FreshMinistries with a mission focus on core city education and small business development. He served for ten years as Executive Director of Syafundisa, an HIV/AIDS Youth Education program in South Africa, and was blessed to work with Bishop Desmond Tutu and the Anglican Church. Bruce has consulted with non-profits around the country on fundraising and sustainable development. He is a custom woodworker whose work can be seen at Seven Sister Gallery here in Black Mountain. Any wisdom he might have acquired over the years comes from his spouse, Banta, and his daughter and granddaughter. He loves music, sports, cooking, travel, and hiking in the mountains of WNC. He still aspires to star in a Broadway musical.
